Nordjyske Bank names 12 to Ringkjøbing Landbobank's shareholders' committee

Nordjyske Bank A/S named 12 members from its board and shareholders' committee to Ringkjøbing Landbobank A/S' shareholder committee in view of the banks' merger.

Per Lykkegaard Christensen, Kim Jacobsen and Poul Søe Jeppesen were named for a term until the annual general meeting in 2019. The terms for Jens Otto Størup, Peer Buch Sørensen and John Christian Aasted will extend until the AGM in 2020.

At the same time Anne Kaptain, Henrik Lintner and Ole Nygaard were named until the AGM in 2021, while Mads Hvolby, Morten Jensen and Sten Uggerhøj were named for the term until 2022, Ringkjøbing Landbobank said.

While Hvolby is being considered for the post of deputy chairman of Ringkjøbing Landbobank's board, Jensen and Uggerhøj are being also being considered for board membership, the bank said.

In April, the two Danish lenders said their boards entered into a merger agreement with the purpose of creating "an even stronger Jutland bank."
