Artificial-intelligence-enabled enterprise software company Automation Anywhere raised $250 million in a series A funding round led by venture capital firm New Enterprise Associates and Goldman Sachs Growth Equity.
The funding round, which also included global growth equity firm General Atlantic and multistage venture capital firm World Innovation Lab as investors, puts Automation Anywhere's post-money valuation at $1.8 billion.
The robotic process automation technology provider said it will use the capital to expand its customer base in North America, Latin America, India, Europe, Australia, Japan, South Korea and Singapore. It plans to roll out its platform in additional geographies, according to a July 2 release.
Goldman Sachs Growth Equity is a venture capital and growth equity investment platform within Goldman Sachs Group Inc.'s merchant banking division.
