Mackmyra Svensk Whisky AB said its second-quarter normalized net income came to a loss of 47 Swedish öre per share, compared with a loss of 48 öre per share in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was a loss of 4.3 million kronor, compared with a loss of 3.9 million kronor in the year-earlier period.
The normalized profit margin rose to negative 25.7% from negative 25.8% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue rose 10.5% on an annual basis to 16.7 million kronor from 15.1 million kronor, and total operating expenses grew 6.4% on an annual basis to 20.5 million kronor from 19.3 million kronor.
Reported net income totaled a loss of 6.9 million kronor, or a loss of 76 öre per share, compared to a loss of 6.3 million kronor, or a loss of 76 öre per share, in the prior-year period.
As of Aug. 25, US$1 was equivalent to 8.41 Swedish kronor.
