1-800-FLOWERS.COM closes sale of Fannie May Confections Brands business

1-800-FLOWERS.COM Inc. completed the sale of its Fannie May Confections Brands Inc. business to Ferrero International SA in a deal worth about $115.0 million.

The transaction includes Fannie May subsidiaries Fannie May Confections Inc. and Harry London Candies Inc.

1-800-FLOWERS.COM and Ferrero also struck a strategic commercial partnership that allows 1-800-FLOWERS.COM to distribute Fannie May, Harry London and certain Ferrero confectionery products through its e-commerce channels, as well as in gift baskets sold into the club, food, drug and mass channels in the U.S., according to a May 30 news release.
