Entergy's president for wholesale commodities to retire

Entergy Corp. on Jan. 18 announced the retirement of Entergy Wholesale Commodities President Bill Mohl, effective Feb. 28.

After 35 years in the energy business and 15 years with Entergy, Mohl's retirement comes with the company's decision to move away from its merchant generation business, which was punctuated by the announcement of the Indian Point nuclear plant's closure. Mohl's responsibilities will be delegated to other senior leaders within the business, effective March 1.

Mohl has held several leadership roles in the company including chairman, president and CEO of the former Entergy Louisiana LLC and Entergy Gulf States Louisiana LLC utilities.
