Wismilak Inti Makmur Q4 profit climbs 26.0% YOY

PT Wismilak Inti Makmur Tbk said its fourth-quarter normalized net income amounted to 16.77 rupiah per share, a gain of 26.0% from 13.31 rupiah per share in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was 35.22 billion rupiah, an increase of 26.0% from 27.95 billion rupiah in the year-earlier period.

The normalized profit margin climbed to 10.9% from 9.2% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue grew 6.2% on an annual basis to 322.34 billion rupiah from 303.64 billion rupiah, and total operating expenses totaled 253.49 billion rupiah, compared with 252.86 billion rupiah in the prior-year period.

Reported net income rose 21.8% from the prior-year period to 39.60 billion rupiah, or 18.86 rupiah per share, from 32.52 billion rupiah, or 15.49 rupiah per share.

For the year, the company's normalized net income totaled 52.39 rupiah per share, an increase of 19.1% from 44.00 rupiah per share in the prior year.

Normalized net income was 110.01 billion rupiah, a gain of 19.1% from 92.39 billion rupiah in the prior year.

Full-year total revenue rose 13.8% year over year to 1.227 trillion rupiah from 1.079 trillion rupiah, and total operating expenses rose 12.1% year over year to 1.026 trillion rupiah from 915.89 billion rupiah.

The company said reported net income increased 16.3% on an annual basis to 130.90 billion rupiah, or 62.34 rupiah per share, in the full year, from 112.52 billion rupiah, or 53.59 rupiah per share.

As of March 28, US$1 was equivalent to 13,330 rupiah.
