Banco Colpatria names new president as Perdomo Maldonado steps down

Colombia's Banco Colpatria Multibanca Colpatria SA said its president, Santiago Perdomo Maldonado, resigned.

According to a Nov. 22 statement, the bank is appointing Jaime Alberto Upegui Cuartas as its new president, effective Feb. 12, 2018. The appointment is subject to board approval.

Perdomo started with the bank in 1981 and became its president in 1994. He resigned from the bank to assume the position of CEO of Mercantil Colpatria SA, the company noted.
