Groupe Partouche SA said its normalized net income for the fiscal second half ended Oct. 31, 2015, came to 39 euro cents per share, an increase from 4 cents per share in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was €3.8 million, a gain from €407,380 in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue decreased on an annual basis to €194.1 million from €201.9 million, and total operating expenses decreased 6.2% year over year to €180.7 million from €192.6 million.
Reported net income came to a loss of €10.2 million, or a loss of €1.05 per share, compared to a loss of €22.8 million, or a loss of €2.36 per share, in the year-earlier period.
For the year, the company's normalized net income totaled €1.02 per share, compared with the S&P Capital IQ consensus normalized EPS estimate of €1.10.
EPS rose from 11 cents in the prior year.
Normalized net income was €9.8 million, a rise from €1.1 million in the prior year.
Full-year total revenue declined on an annual basis to €400.3 million from €409.6 million, and total operating expenses declined on an annual basis to €369.4 million from €388.8 million.
The company said reported net income totaled €2.0 million, or 20 cents per share, in the full year, compared with a loss of €1.5 million, or a loss of 16 cents per share, the prior year.
