Anfield Energy Inc. completed an updated resource estimate for the Charlie uranium project in Wyoming, which the company is acquiring from Cotter Corp.
The property hosts indicated resources of 1.3 million tons of material grading 0.123% triuranium octoxide equivalent, or eU3O8, for 3.1 million pounds of eU3O8.
Inferred resources, meanwhile, total 558,000 tons grading 0.125% eU3O8 for 1.4 million pounds of eU3O8.
The estimate also defined an exploration target of between 280,000 and 680,000 tons grading 0.090% to 0.151% eU3O8.
"We are aiming to close the ongoing Cotter transaction in the next 60 to 90 days, which will allow us to move the Charlie project forward," Anfield CEO Corey Dias said in a Sept. 5 release.
Anfield will issue a technical report for Charlie within 45 days.
