Private equity firm KKR closes $7.4B infrastructure fund

New York-based private equity firm KKR & Co. has closed its $7.4 billion fund KKR Global Infrastructure Investors III.

KKR will invest $358 million in capital together with external investors through the company's balance sheet and employee commitments.

The fund will focus on pursuing global infrastructure investment opportunities, particularly in countries who are members of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development.
