Report: Entertainment Studios founder buys unit at Vornado's NYC tower for $27M

Entertainment Studios Inc. founder and CEO Byron Allen purchased a three-bedroom unit spanning more than 3,000 square feet for approximately $26.8 million at the 220 Central Park South building owned by Vornado Realty Trust in New York City, The Wall Street Journal reported, citing a person familiar with the deal.

Allen is the latest high-profile buyer of a unit at the Billionaires' Row tower, joining musician Sting and hedge fund Citadel founder Ken Griffin, who were earlier reported to have each purchased a penthouse.

Keller Williams NYC represented Allen in the transaction, while Corcoran Sunshine Marketing Group leads sales at the building, according to the publication.
