Aflac prices yen-denominated senior notes

Aflac Inc. has priced ¥53.4 billion of senior notes.

The offering comprises ¥29.3 billion of notes with a 1.159% coupon due 2030, ¥15.2 billion of notes with a 1.488% coupon due 2033 and ¥8.9 billion of notes with a 1.750% coupon due 2038.

Aflac may use the net proceeds from the offering for general corporate purposes, it said in an Oct. 11 release.

As of Oct. 11, US$1 was equivalent to ¥112.21.
