Bandai Namco Holdings Inc. said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended Dec. 31, 2014, came to ¥47.36 per share, a decline from ¥48.47 per share in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥10.41 billion, a decrease from ¥10.65 billion in the year-earlier period.
The normalized profit margin dropped to 6.9% from 7.6% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue increased 7.3% year over year to ¥149.84 billion from ¥139.60 billion, and total operating expenses climbed 8.8% from the prior-year period to ¥134.08 billion from ¥123.20 billion.
Reported net income rose 5.9% year over year to ¥10.69 billion, or ¥48.66 per share, from ¥10.10 billion, or ¥45.95 per share.
As of Feb. 13, US$1 was equivalent to ¥118.68.
