Report: IBM Europe's boss to become Deutsche Börse's new chairman in 2020

Deutsche Börse AG is expected to name IBM Europe Chairman Martin Jetter as the new chairman of its supervisory board in 2020, Manager Magazin reported Aug. 22, citing sources.

Jetter, who is a member of Deutsche Börse's supervisory board will succeed Joachim Faber as chair after the general annual meeting next year, the magazine said.

Faber announced at the time of his last reelection to the board in the spring of 2018 he does not plan to complete its full three-year term, it said.

Deutsche Börse has not set a date for the 2020 annual meeting yet, according to the group's business calendar.
