National Australia Bank to issue US$1.15B of covered bonds

National Australia Bank Ltd. plans to raise US$1.15 billion by issuing fixed-rate covered bonds due 2023.

The bonds will carry a coupon of 3.450%.

The bank said it would use proceeds from the issue for general corporate purposes.
