HSBC México places $300M of debt in private issuance

HSBC México SA Institución de Banca Múltiple Grupo Financiero HSBC on May 31 placed subordinated debt worth $300 million in a private issuance.

The notes were purchased by parent company HSBC Holdings PLC.

HSBC México said that it will use the resources obtained from the issuance to strengthen its capital and bolster its organic growth strategy in Mexico.
