Mizuho Financial makes management changes

Mizuho Financial Group Inc. announced management changes at the group and Mizuho Bank Ltd.'s unit in China.

Kazushi Takeda retired as an executive officer and co-general manager of the East Asia department at Mizuho Financial, according to a March 28 release.

Meanwhile, Kazushi Takeda, an executive officer and general manager for the global corporate division, will become president of Mizuho Bank unit Mizuho Bank (China) Ltd. Takeda replaces Toyoki Oka, who will remain at the company as executive officer and general manager of the global corporate division.

The changes are effective March 28.
