Liontown Resources Ltd. received firm commitments to raise A$18 million to continue exploration and development at its Kathleen Valley and Buldania lithium projects in Western Australia.
The company said Aug. 2 that following completion, its flagship Kathleen Valley lithium-tantalum project will be fully funded through to completion of a definitive feasibility study in the third quarter of 2020.
The capital raising includes a A$16.6 million placement of 138,083,333 shares to institutional and sophisticated investors and a A$1.4 million placement of 11,916,667 shares to the company's directors.
The company plans to conduct a new drilling program at Kathleen Valley to expand the deposit and complete a pre-feasibility study in the fourth quarter.
