The SEC appointed Jeffrey Dinwoodie senior counsel and policy adviser for market and activities-based risk.
Dinwoodie will become SEC Chairman Jay Clayton's deputy representative to the Financial Stability Oversight Council. He will also be the primary liaison for matters related to market risks and activities-based risk to other regulators and international organizations.
Dinwoodie most recently was lead adviser to Clayton on matters related to the Division of Trading and Markets, Office of Compliance Inspections and Examinations, Office of Municipal Securities and Office of Credit Ratings.
