GoldON sells Rainy gold claims in Ontario to New Gold

GoldON Resources Ltd. said Jan. 8 that it sold the Rainy gold claims in Ontario to New Gold Inc.

The company received proceeds of C$166,694 for the 32 unpatented legacy mineral claims and net of the underlying 2% net smelter returns royalty.

The claims are near New Gold's Rainy River gold project, which produced 77,202 ounces of gold in the fourth quarter of 2018.

GoldON is focused on its fully permitted Slate Falls gold-silver project in northwestern Ontario.
