Helmerich & Payne unit acquires drilling software, services provider DrillScan

Helmerich & Payne Inc. unit Helmerich & Payne Technologies LLC acquired oil and gas services provider DrillScan, according to an Aug. 21 news release. No terms were disclosed.

DrillScan provides drilling engineering software, well engineering services, and training for the oil and gas industry.

The acquired company will operate as part of H&P Technologies, which is focused on developing technologies and directional drilling automation solutions.
