Nien Made Enterprise Q3 profit climbs 26.6% YOY

Nien Made Enterprise Co. LTD. said its normalized net income for the third quarter was NT$2.83 per share, compared with the S&P Capital IQ consensus estimate of NT$3.24 per share.

EPS rose 12.5% year over year from NT$2.52.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was NT$831.0 million, a gain of 26.6% from NT$656.3 million in the prior-year period.

The normalized profit margin climbed to 16.9% from 14.5% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue grew 9.2% year over year to NT$4.93 billion from NT$4.51 billion, and total operating expenses grew year over year to NT$3.57 billion from NT$3.46 billion.

Reported net income increased 38.5% on an annual basis to NT$1.02 billion, or NT$3.48 per share, from NT$736.8 million, or NT$2.83 per share.
