Allegheny Technologies CFO to retire

Allegheny Technologies Inc. CFO Patrick DeCourcy will retire March 31, 2020, prompting the company to launch a search process for his replacement.

To ensure a smooth transition, DeCourcy will remain in his role until the company names a successor, according to an Aug. 5 release.

The company's second-quarter attributable net profit rose 3.2% year over year to US$75.1 million, or 54 cents per share, from US$72.8 million, or 52 cents per share, attributed to the sale of noncore assets.
