Tokyo Dome Corp. said its normalized net income for the fiscal fourth quarter ended Jan. 31 came to ¥10.77 per share, an increase of 54.0% from ¥6.99 per share in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥1.03 billion, an increase of 54.0% from ¥666.3 million in the year-earlier period.
The normalized profit margin rose to 4.6% from 3.1% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue grew year over year to ¥22.15 billion from ¥21.24 billion, and total operating expenses grew on an annual basis to ¥19.91 billion from ¥19.61 billion.
Reported net income rose 89.4% year over year to ¥1.07 billion, or ¥11.20 per share, from ¥564.0 million, or ¥5.92 per share.
For the year, the company's normalized net income totaled ¥59.90 per share, a decline from ¥61.07 per share in the prior year.
Normalized net income was ¥5.71 billion, a decline from ¥5.82 billion in the prior year.
Full-year total revenue amounted to ¥83.22 billion, compared with ¥83.56 billion in the prior year, and total operating expenses totaled ¥71.94 billion, compared with ¥71.84 billion in the prior-year period.
The company said reported net income decreased 7.9% year over year to ¥7.44 billion, or ¥78.06 per share, in the full year, from ¥8.08 billion, or ¥84.71 per share.
As of April 28, US$1 was equivalent to ¥118.81.
