Invesco Mortgage Capital plans to offer common shares

Invesco Mortgage Capital Inc. plans to make a public offering of 14 million shares of its common stock.

The company will grant the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 2.1 million common shares.

Invesco Mortgage Capital expects to use the net proceeds from the offering to buy assets within its target asset classes and for other general corporate purposes.

Morgan Stanley, Barclays, BofA Merrill Lynch, Citigroup, Credit Suisse and J.P. Morgan are acting as joint book-running managers for the offering.
