KKR promotes 6 execs to co-lead flagship PE business in 3 regions

KKR & Co. Inc. named six executives to co-lead its flagship private equity businesses in three regions.

The firm promoted Pete Stavros and Nate Taylor to co-lead its private equity activities in the Americas. Mattia Caprioli and Philipp Freise will assume similar roles for Europe, while Hirofumi Hirano and Ashish Shastry will take them on for the Asia-Pacific region.

Stavros has led investments in the industrials sector since 2010 and is also the co-chair of the firm's inclusion and diversity committee, while Taylor has managed KKR's retail and consumer investments in the Americas since 2014.

Caprioli has focused on the consumer and leisure services industry since 2010, while Freise handled investments in the technology, media and telecommunications sector since 2005.

Hirano joined the firm in 2013 as CEO of KKR Japan, while Shastry worked as the head of Southeast Asia since joining the firm in 2016.
