G-Tekt Corp. said its normalized net income for the fiscal fourth quarter ended March 31 came to ¥47.91 per share, a gain from ¥23.56 per share in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥2.09 billion, an increase from ¥1.03 billion in the prior-year period.
The normalized profit margin climbed to 3.6% from 1.9% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue grew 6.5% year over year to ¥57.31 billion from ¥53.79 billion, and total operating expenses rose from the prior-year period to ¥53.32 billion from ¥51.10 billion.
Reported net income rose year over year to ¥2.79 billion, or ¥64.00 per share, from ¥430.0 million, or ¥9.80 per share.
For the year, the company's normalized net income totaled ¥135.90 per share, a gain of 26.1% from ¥107.79 per share in the prior year.
Normalized net income was ¥5.94 billion, an increase of 25.6% from ¥4.73 billion in the prior year.
Full-year total revenue grew 13.9% from the prior-year period to ¥220.73 billion from ¥193.77 billion, and total operating expenses increased 12.9% on an annual basis to ¥207.90 billion from ¥184.13 billion.
The company said reported net income rose 62.5% on an annual basis to ¥7.56 billion, or ¥172.91 per share, in the full year, from ¥4.65 billion, or ¥106.00 per share.
