Global Medical REIT to acquire 4-building medical office portfolio for $64M

Global Medical REIT Inc. struck a deal to buy a four-building medical office portfolio totaling 155,600 rentable square feet for $64.2 million.

The healthcare real estate investment trust also boosted the size of its revolving credit facility by $90 million to $340 million.

Subsequent to the end of 2017, the company wrapped up four purchases spanning 323,400 rentable square feet for $48.4 million. The properties include the Quad City Kidney Center in Moline, Ill.; NOMS in Fremont, Ohio; Gainesville Eye in Georgia; and City Hospital of White Rock in Dallas.

In the 2017 fourth quarter, Global Medical closed on seven purchases covering 142,666 rentable square feet for $48.4 million. The properties include the Texas Digestive in Ft. Worth, Texas; Heartland Clinic in Moline, Ill.; Albertville Medical Building in Minnesota; Amarillo Bone & Joint Clinic in Texas; Kansas City Cardiology in Lee's Summit, Mo.; Zion Eye Institute in St. George, Utah; and Berks Respiratory in Wyomissing, Pa.
