Bank of the Ryukyus raises dividend, names directors

Japan's Bank of the Ryukyus Ltd. declared a higher dividend for the fiscal year ended March 31 and nominated two directors.

The company proposed a special dividend of ¥7 per share, in addition to the interim and final per-share dividends of ¥17.50 each, bringing total dividend for the year to ¥42. The dividend payout for the fiscal year is up from ¥35 per share for the prior fiscal year.

The dividend will be distributed June 28 following a shareholder vote on June 27.

Further, the company nominated Kaoru Iguchi and Masanori Fukuyama as director and outside director, respectively.
