North Coast SA Q3 profit climbs 28.1% YOY

North Coast SA said its normalized net income for the third quarter amounted to 18 groszy per share, a gain of 28.1% from 14 groszy per share in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was 580,250 zlotys, a gain of 28.1% from 453,130 zlotys in the year-earlier period.

The normalized profit margin rose to 1.3% from 1.1% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue increased 14.5% year over year to 45.9 million zlotys from 40.1 million zlotys, and total operating expenses rose 17.0% year over year to 46.0 million zlotys from 39.3 million zlotys.

Reported net income came to 454,000 zlotys, or 14 groszy per share, compared to 455,000 zlotys, or 14 groszy per share, in the year-earlier period.

As of Nov. 14, US$1 was equivalent to 4.12 zlotys.
