CorVel shareholders reject proposal on risk report related to EEO policy

Majority of CorVel Corp. shareholders did not approve a fellow shareholder's proposal requesting the issuance of a public report detailing the potential risks associated with omitting "sexual orientation" and "gender identity" from the company's equal employment opportunity policy.

The proposal was from Walden Asset Management, which said that CorVel does not explicitly prohibit discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity or expression in its written EEO policy.
