Ecolab to buy Belgian livestock biosecurity and hygiene provider CID Lines

Minnesota-based Ecolab Inc. agreed to acquire Belgian livestock biosecurity and hygiene provider CID Lines NV for an undisclosed amount.

The transaction is expected to take place in the second quarter of 2020, subject to regulatory clearance.

Until the completion of the deal, both companies would continue to function as separate entities.

CID Lines, which serves more than 300,000 farms in more than 100 countries, generated approximately $113 million in sales in 2019.
