Chubb Ltd. introduced new insurance solutions to help protect small life sciences companies from property and casualty exposures.

QBE North America expanded its multinational offerings into casualty lines with the launch of QBE Global Connect, a new foreign casualty package comprised of general liability, excess auto and foreign voluntary compensation coverage features.

Everest Re Group Ltd. launched Everest Elevation Investment Management Insurance Policy, a new product that provides management and professional liability coverage to investment advisers, mutual funds and hedge funds.

Hudson Insurance Group Inc. launched a subcontractor default insurance business unit, catering to the needs of general contractors whose annual revenue exceeds $50 million.

Blue Shield of California expanded its home-based palliative care program across all 58 counties of the state, following the launch of a pilot program in the Sacramento area in early 2017. Palliative care model features home visits from integrated teams that include physicians, nurses, social workers, chaplains and other specialists needed for patients suffering from serious illness.

Aetna Inc. and UnityPoint Accountable Care LC announced an accountable care collaboration in Iowa and in central and southern Illinois. The new commercial healthcare product, Aetna Whole Health— UnityPoint Accountable Care network, will offer employers improved quality of care, reduced healthcare costs, and an enhanced patient experience. Aetna members will receive coordinated care from approximately 3,400 doctors, along with 31 hospitals and 32 urgent care centers under the partnership.

Aetna also announced an accountable care collaboration with Orlando Health, and the introduction of a new commercial healthcare product in the state, Aetna Whole Health – Orlando.
