MD Medical Group opens new hospital in Russia

MD Medical Group Investments Plc said it opened a new hospital in Samara, Russia.

The hospital, known as Mother&Child Samara, will provide outpatient care for adults and children, with a separate pediatric facility for children needing inpatient medical care.

The Russian private healthcare provider said the hospital is the largest facility of its kind in the Volga region.

The hospital, which cost about 3.2 billion rubles to build, began in the second quarter of 2016 and was completed on schedule.

As of March 2, US$1 was equivalent to 57.11 Russian rubles.
