Hersha Hospitality sells 81-room NYC hotel for $32M

Hersha Hospitality Trust sold the 81-room Hampton Inn hotel at 32 Pearl St. in the financial district of New York City to Virginia-based hospitality investor Shamin Hotels for $32.4 million, The Real Deal reported March 9, citing property records.

Shamin financed the seven-story hotel's purchase with a $21.2 million mortgage from the American National Insurance Co.

The publication could not immediately retrieve a comment from either Hersha or Shamin regarding the matter.
