Tigers Polymer Corp. said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended Dec. 31, 2014, was ¥28.04 per share, an increase of 74.3% from ¥16.09 per share in the year-earlier period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥561.1 million, a gain of 74.3% from ¥322.0 million in the prior-year period.
The normalized profit margin increased to 5.2% from 3.7% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue increased 22.2% year over year to ¥10.75 billion from ¥8.80 billion, and total operating expenses grew 19.9% year over year to ¥9.96 billion from ¥8.30 billion.
Reported net income rose from the prior-year period to ¥653.0 million, or ¥32.63 per share, from ¥325.0 million, or ¥16.24 per share.
As of Feb. 13, US$1 was equivalent to ¥118.68.
