WorleyParsons unit tapped by Reliance for work offshore India

WorleyParsons Ltd. subsidiary INTECSEA Inc. was granted a project management services contract by Reliance Industries Ltd. for its MJ Field deepwater gas and condensate project offshore India, according to an Aug. 19 release.

The contract covers the project's engineering, procurement and construction phases as well as subsea facilities and offshore processing through floating production storage and off-loading facility and an existing gas trunk line

MJ, a gas condensate field in water depths of 700 to 1,100 meters, is the third field under development as part of the Block KG D6 integrated development plan. The project is expected to start production in mid-2022. Reliance and BP PLC sanctioned project development in June.

The contract value was not disclosed.
