Swedish fast-fashion retailer H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB said Dec. 9 that it has tapped Dutch parcel delivery company Fietskoeriers.nl to deliver H&M packages by bicycle in the Netherlands.
Fietskoeriers.nl, which covers about 30 Dutch cities, will pick up parcels at H&M's warehouse with biogas vehicles and deliver the packages by bicycle from local hubs.
H&M will offer a next-day delivery option to customers who choose the service.
H&M said transport is an increasing focus now that the company is ramping up its e-commerce strategy.
