Parkland Fuel reports higher Q2 net earnings at C$111M

Canada's Parkland Fuel Corp. on Aug. 1 reported second-quarter net earnings of C$111 million, up from the C$60 million reported during the second quarter of 2018.

Sales and operating revenue for the quarter amounted to C$4.85 billion, increasing from C$3.78 billion a year prior.

Fuel and petroleum product volume came in at 5.53 billion liters, compared to the 4.20 billion liters posted during the same period in 2018.

Refinery utilization was pegged at 94.9% for the quarter, compared to 90.9% during the second quarter of 2018.
