Gopher Protocol Inc. has appointed three members of the board, including the chairman, bringing the total number of directors to seven.
Gopher appointed Robert Yaspan, Judit Nagypal and Ned Siegel to the board, as part of the company's preparation to submit its application to list on a national exchange. Yaspan will serve as chairman, while Nagypal and Siegel will become independent directors. Yaspan is the owner of Law Offices of Robert M. Yaspan; Nagypal has held different positions at Microsoft, Kraft Biscuits and The Coca-Cola Co.; and Siegel is a retired U.S. ambassador.
Mansour Khatib was appointed interim CEO, in addition to his roles as chief marketing officer and secretary. Khatib replaces Gregory Bauer, who resigned due to personal reasons. Bauer will continue to serve as a company consultant. Michael Murray, who is currently a director, was also named president.
