Horizon Capital fund explores strategic options for stake in Purcari Wineries

Purcari Wineries PCL's second-largest shareholder, Lorimer Ventures Ltd., is considering strategic options for its stake in the Cyprus-based wine company after receiving unsolicited offers from third parties.

Lorimer, which owns 4,539,233 Purcari shares, or about 22.6962% of the company's share capital, is a subsidiary of Emerging Europe Growth Fund II LP managed by Ukrainian private equity firm Horizon Capital.

Lorimer has tapped WOOD & Co. Financial Services as its financial adviser for the potential sale. No decision has been made regarding its stake.
