Ci:z Holdings fiscal Q3 profit falls YOY

Ci:z Holdings Co. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended April 30 came to ¥12.12 per share, a decrease of 42.2% from ¥20.97 per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥602.5 million, a decrease of 42.4% from ¥1.05 billion in the year-earlier period.

The normalized profit margin declined to 7.2% from 11.9% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue fell 5.1% year over year to ¥8.33 billion from ¥8.78 billion, and total operating expenses increased year over year to ¥7.35 billion from ¥7.11 billion.

Reported net income fell 40.7% year over year to ¥603.0 million, or ¥12.13 per share, from ¥1.02 billion, or ¥20.40 per share.

As of June 11, US$1 was equivalent to ¥123.66.
