Banco Unión finance chief resigns

Banco Unión SA said Dec. 20 that it accepted Margot Baeny Aue's resignation as manager of finance and foreign trade for the bank, marking the latest in a string of management changes at the Bolivia-based bank.

Baeny Aue's resignation, which takes effect Jan. 12, 2018, comes less than two months after she was named to the position in early November.

Banco Unión has seen numerous management changes in the aftermath of the firing of CEO Marcia Villarroel over ties to alleged embezzlement. The company replaced its board of directors after its previous slate resigned and, more recently appointed a new national manager of operations and government services.
