US Bank acquires software company talech

US Bank NA acquired software company talech in line with efforts to increase its digital expertise.

Palo Alto, Calif.-based talech provides software that enables businesses to manage multiple operational tasks such as order management, inventory and staff reporting, customer management, business insights and payments processing in a single, integrated point-of-sale system. Talech will join the newly formed digital team led by Derek White, chief digital officer of US Bank.

The acquisition closed Sept. 9. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

U.S. Bancorp, the parent company of US Bank, had $482 billion in assets as of June 30, according to a news release.
