PFA Holding to lend $470M to Nordic Aviation Capital

Danish commercial pension company PFA Holding A/S will provide a $470 million loan to aircraft leasing solutions provider Nordic Aviation Capital A/S to strengthen its capital base and funding profile.

The deal will boost Nordic Aviation Capital's aircraft leasing business model and support a solid long-term and risk-adjusted return on investment for PFA, according to the chief investment officer of PFA, Henrik Nøhr Poulsen.

PFA Holding has assets under management worth more than 500 billion Danish kroner and aims to invest 10 billion kroner to 15 billion kroner annually in alternative investments.

As of Dec. 17, US$1 was equivalent to 6.58 Danish kroner.
