Oriflame Holding profit misses consensus by 25.5% in Q3

Oriflame Holding AG said its third-quarter normalized net income amounted to 11 euro cents per share, compared with the S&P Capital IQ consensus estimate of 15 cents per share.

EPS declined 41.8% year over year from 19 cents.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was €6.1 million, a decrease of 41.7% from €10.5 million in the year-earlier period.

The normalized profit margin dropped to 2.3% from 3.8% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue decreased on an annual basis to €263.2 million from €274.5 million, and total operating expenses decreased year over year to €244.1 million from €254.8 million.

Reported net income decreased 57.1% on an annual basis to €5.0 million, or 9 cents per share, from €11.7 million, or 21 cents per share.
