Groupe Minoteries SA said its normalized net income for the first half came to CHF5.43 per share, an increase from CHF2.52 per share in the year-earlier period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was CHF1.8 million, an increase from CHF831,880 in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue grew on an annual basis to CHF72.8 million from CHF72.0 million, and total operating expenses came to CHF69.8 million, compared with CHF70.4 million in the prior-year period.
Reported net income rose 55.7% from the prior-year period to CHF2.3 million, or CHF6.99 per share, from CHF1.5 million, or CHF4.49 per share.
