Advantex Marketing International fiscal Q3 loss narrows YOY

Advantex Marketing International Inc. said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended March 31 amounted to a loss of C$319,480, compared with a loss of C$1.1 million in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis.

The normalized profit margin climbed to negative 13.1% from negative 40.8% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue declined 10.4% year over year to C$2.4 million from C$2.7 million, and total operating expenses declined 40.8% year over year to C$2.4 million from C$4.1 million.

Reported net income came to a loss of C$511,170, or a loss of 0 cents per share, compared to a loss of C$2.6 million, or a loss of 2 cents per share, in the year-earlier period.
