Axa XL named Peter Welton head of energy for the U.K.
He will develop the U.K. energy book, design insurance solutions for energy clients and lead a team of underwriters in London. He replaces Luis Prato, who was appointed chief underwriting officer for U.K. legal entities in September.
Welton served as senior class underwriter for downstream energy and power at Axa XL, a division of Axa SA.
RKH Specialty Ltd. appointed Jason Humphreys and Alex Robinson to its specialist aviation team in London.
Humphreys will join in February 2020 and Robinson in March 2020 after they have discharged their obligations at Marsh Ltd.
