Daniel Cottrell has joined IHC Specialty Benefits Inc. as senior vice president of national accounts.

Cottrell most recently served as vice president for Cigna Corp.'s Cigna Payer Solutions.

IHC Specialty Benefits is the specialty health marketing and distribution arm of The IHC Group, an insurance organization composed of Independence Holding Co. and its operating subsidiaries.
